Costs of a digital presence in Colombia: what you pay at the start and afterwards
The cost of your digital presence combines initial work, external services and maintenance according to what you need. To decide, it helps to separate those parts. A proposal should explain what you receive at the start, what renews and which future changes might need another quote. That clarity lets you compare options and plan your budget with less uncertainty.
At MR Mentoría, our published prices include an Essential web presence from €165, an Essential Landing from €250 and an Extended Landing from €335. They are different scopes; the final price is agreed together with the deliverables, and the sales conversation explains what each level includes.
For a small business, the initial cost should respond to a specific need. A short page can present a service and make contact easy. More sections, copy from scratch, English or extra features change the work. If a new need comes up after the proposal has been accepted, it should be explained and quoted before it's done, so you stay in control of the decision.
The domain is another matter: the name you'll use on the internet may involve registration and renewal. Hosting, email and connected tools may have different terms. Some plans with no monthly fee help when they cover what's needed, but they don't remove every cost. We'll review what applies in your case and which accounts will stay under your business's control.
The payment arrangement should also be clear. In projects proposed by MR Mentoría, the standard is 50% upfront, with the balance and terms stated in the quote, or a 10% discount for full payment upfront, subject to conditions. The choice is the client's. It shouldn't be presented as an obligation to pay everything, or come with limited places that don't really exist.
If you're going to advertise, distinguish ad spend from management work. The payment to the platform goes on showing your ads; management covers the agreed preparation and follow-up activities. The page, photos or an initial setup may be additional work. A useful budget shows those differences and the result that will be measured, without promising sales for a fixed amount.
After going live, think about continuity. It may include checking forms, limited content changes and technical tasks suited to the technology used. Adding new pages or major integrations needs a different scope. Not every business needs the same plan: it's best to sign up for what you can use and maintain, with understandable owners and response times.
At MR Mentoría we look for quality solutions with proportionate costs, including low-cost tools when they work for your operation. Tell us what you need today and what budget you can set aside for the whole project. We'll prepare a proposal with deliverables, payments, external costs and later options, so you understand how to start and what you might need afterwards.
